Pardon me for asking, but I'm just getting back into reloading pistol and rifle shells after a hiatus of almost 20 years. What are the advantages and disadvantages of reloading shotgun shells? I know that the reloading presses are rather expensive. Can you reload these shells with 00 buckshot and slugs? Thanks!

    No problem sir!

Yes, the one down side to reloading is the start up costs. The cheaper you can buy each component the more fruitful your labor will be. I know you can reload these hulls, my brother in law does it. 00 Buck should be fine, as long as you maintain your specs, I would not hot load, just standard powder weights. Slug.... never done before. My brother in law scored all of his loading stuff from a guy at his work that came down on a domestic charge :'(. He was court orders to get rid of it ASAP, so he sold it cheep! All RCBS stuff, can't beat that.
