Shipping and stuff to the Great White North is the definite downside. Too many restrictions on firearm parts and added taxes.

I've looked at various Canadian sites and couldn't find anything that would be an issue regarding shipping of firearm parts. This part is not the serialized receiver so it is not considered a firearm. It is also a non-restricted firearm in Canada so it doesn't have the registration issues. Are there restrictions on the US side?

I can see the pics in the op, but can't see the pics on page 2 for some reason. Can someone embed them for the phone users?

This wouldn't be much of an issue if you use Kinetic Development Group's quick detach m-lok rails (tool-less removal and installation). https://kineticdg.com/product-category/kinect/

Interesting system. I don't ever change my barrel so it's not an issue but that could be an option for someone who constantly moves components around on their rails.

The standard M-Lok screws can be trimmed shorter too if more clearance is needed. I had to do that on my FN SCAR (with MREX extension) to keep the screws from touching the gas block.

And the M&P trigger. S&W made some definite improvement with the 2.0, especially with the reset, but I still dislike that split trigger face.

Pretty cool, especially the bipod mount. Reasonably priced for what they are. My deal is I don't want to shave the pic rails off just to turn around and M-Lok one back on. Any attachment I put on I want to be M-Lok and just skip all of the pic crap. G10 grip surface, hand stop, IR Laser, and optics.
