    What aluminum used?

Is the XCR 7075 or 6061? It feels 7075.

    Pretty sure it's 7075.

I must feel like 7075 then, but probably only T1 at best.

I am just going off of what 7075 I've felt in ARs and the 6061 I felt with the lame MCX. It does feel more "dense".

I have no clue, but I can say the material feel and stiffness etc.. leads me to think it's not 6061. Having had billet 6061 AR's and forged 7075, the XCR appears / feels better built to me.

Good hell people. 7075 or 6061. 99% of people don't know what that means. How does it feel? SMH.... if you really want to know, taste it.

Mine used to taste kinda minty - or maybe that was just the smell of the froglube.
Later it kinda tasted like crisco - or maybe that was just the smell of the fireclean.
Then it tasted like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches - I think that's because I didn't wipe my hands off after lunch though.
So what alloy does that make my XCR?
I'm betting with all those flavors it must be 412!

Do you really think we want laws to be observed? We want them broken. There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. When there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be crimes that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants law-abiding citizens? Pass the kind of laws that can’t be observed, enforced, or objectively interpreted - and you create a nation of law-breakers.
