    Customer Service

    This message is for Alex Robinson.

    These venting posts are often the ones that get picked up by bloggers and journalists and soon a single comment becomes a firestorm of hatred.

    Look, you canít stop people from posting bad things about your company. But you can be pro-active about providing good customer service and following up on issues in a timely manner. Sometimes, all it takes is letting the customer know that you heard them and youíll do better in the future.

    Take some time this afternoon to review your social media sites. Read the comments, search for your company name on Twitter and Google. In other words, seek out those unhappy customers, donít run from them, or they could ruin you.

    Good luck.

    But, a word of warning, most folks that have been publicly negative about RobArm have gotten black listed in terms of support. Mr. Robinson doesn't allow his folks to post here anymore though I imagine he, or others, check in to observe.

    The company is quirky and for good or bad is run exactly how he wants it to be. It's his company and his reason but damned if I know what that may be.

    If you think RobArms is bad, lucky you have never dealt with Knights, Glock, or HK Customer Service.

    Don't worry about being on the black list. I too am on the black list

    LOL.. NO, that is what I have learned here... That Rob Arms Customer service is great because Glock, HK, and Knights are worse! Brilliant logic huh? hahahah

    Actually I emailed Knights, Glock, and HK and all 3 answered my emails within 3 hours. Also was able to talk to a person for all 3 when I called them.

    Did Glock immediately start asking about springs or making veiled accusations of user error before even asking what the problem was? They've been a total pain in the ass every time I've tried talking to them, but EC is right, they do at least answer the phone. Now if only it didn't take an hour to convince them to look at a problem with one of their "perfect" pistols.

    Just out of curiosity, what happens if you physically go there? Has anyone just shown up at their door with an issue, and if so, did they respond or just throw you out?

    From what we understand in the past if you do that and not be confrontational, Alex can be pretty accommodating.

    The process for getting good custoemr support at RA is to:

    Walk up
    Open door
    Smile
    Ask for Alex
    Kneel
    Pucker up and kiss ass
    Nod and repeat, "you are the greatest" several times
    Adding in the occasional "wow" helps too
    etc....


    or, call Kermitt or Navalbeaver and ask them for parts and members on this forum for advice, you 'll get further and not wear holes in your pants!
