I would much rather be able to go to my local gun shop pick out dang near any rifle, pistol, shotgun, ammo, accessory, ect that will hold how ever much ammo in I want with any length barrel I want than to have the ease of po box delivery.

Yes, sometimes living up in the frozen North has cons, but also it has many perks too. Needless to say, I have to do plenty of online shopping for guns and gun parts, as our small shops up here just cater to the duck and moose hunters, and they have probably have never heard of an XCR.

140 rounds through mine last Thursday. Ejection was not too strong, though recoil was pretty harsh. Had a handful of failures to fire....my hand was hitting the paddle safety on the right side and causing the trigger to fail to reset.

I'm switching out to the old safety to solve the problem. As for ejection of spent cases.....I'll let it break in more first (shooting 122 gr. FMJ Golden Tiger). Need to turn down the gas and test fire more. The weaker than expected (but still acceptable) ejection on setting 4 has me concerned about lower settings....but time will tell and more break in is necessary to fully diagnose any potential issue (if there is one at all). I'm optimistic overall.....cautiously......I had a couple of other uppers that ran great for 200+ rounds before finding recurring issues.

Your shooting experience sounds like mine, no problems. Glad to hear it!
I'm also shooting the Yugo 7.62x39. Good stuff. I clean my rifle, after a day at the range. No rust so far.
The gas valve is easy to clean, but the vent from the barrel is an other story. I've been letting Hoppes #9 run down the vent and out the muzzle. I was wondering if I could get a pipe cleaner in and down through? I also blasted it with CLP. There's no way to tell if its clean or not. Anyone have a better way?

Cheaper than Dirt has the mags you want. I ordered 3 30's and a 10 for bench shooting.

    MAG-150 Mag AR-15 7.62X39mm 10 Round ASC Magazine Stainless Steel Gray Phosphate Finish 1 $19.97 $19.97
    MAG-151 Mag AR-15 7.62X39mm 30 Round ASC Magazine Stainless Steel Gray Phosphate Finish 3 $17.97 $53.91

I think they come in black too.

You can also get them direct from Robinson or ASC inc. too.
