    Getting a XCR-L 10" Mini.... Can't decide between 5.56 or 7.62x39

As stated.... I have heard Prvi Partizan AK ammo is non corrosive and brass AND reloadable.... This would make it a great round to use for the extensive shooting I wish to do...

Have you guys found a good brand of non corrosive? I have heard the MFS rounds are not always as advertised....

However , not having shot any 7.62x39 I'm not sure what to truly expect in terms of recoil and follow up shots with the SBR . I do intend to use double hearin protection in order to utilize the best compensator available to mitigate as much recoil as possible.

Hoping to hear from those who have experience with the" shorty ak" XCR , particularly those that hav shot both.

Also, I am curious Canadian members on the board know rules are on importing ammo.... I'm Czech and travel to "the motherland" frequently.

Being in Canada, I would be usin 7.62x39 XCR Micro pistol mags, any experiences with those mags on here? Do they work reliably?

Due to the magazine situation, I'd say get the 5.56 for the best reliability. Even though ASC has produced good mags in the past, their new ones have been questionable in terms of quality and reliability. However, all that relates to US mags....not sure of the mag situation in Canada.

I have a 8 5/16" bbl 5.56 mini and a 10" 7.62x39............The 7.62 definitely packs more punch, but again, if you can't get reliable mags, it really doesn't matter. Luckily I have over 20 reliable ASC mags....but I'm not sure of the current status of ASC at this point.

I use mostly Brown Bear non-corrosive ammo in 7.62x39. Wolf I've found to be less consistent, but still runs reliably (in terms of extraction) in 7.62x39. I also have quite a bit of Golden Tiger 7.62x39 that works just fine as well in the XCR but seems to be lighter loaded than Brown Bear.
