Anyone played with the "new" C products 28 or 30rnd mags

So supposedly C products has "redesigned" their 7.62x39 mags. They now have a 28 rounder that supposedly fits into a STANAG mag pouch, and a new 30 rounder.

PR was from August. Anyone played with these yet or am I going to have to be the test mule again?

PS if anyone wants some D&H 7.62s I've got some sitting around doing nothing, since they break XCRs...

See my D&H mag review. They work fine in (most) AR lowers, but don't lock up the mag release fully on the XCR. I came to the conclusion that it was due to the top of the mag hitting the barrel extension. I know I could fix the mags with a dremel, but I just don't want to have to worry about keeping an extra mag release around incase the mag causes another failure.

Hey I just had my mag release snap on me using the ASC 30/5 7.62x39 magazines for the first time... So you guys think this mag was the actual cause of it breaking on me or was it maybe just a wear n tear break?? I have run around 2500 rounds through it... with lots of mag changes since they are pinned to 5 in Canada.
