    Yeah, I was commenting to a friend how incredibly stupid I am to buy something just for the look....but what's funny is I'm now actually interested in my 2 x39 XCRs again. If these mags work (and hopefully I can get some sale pricing), I've got some plans for the 2 XCRs in this caliber.

    I know I don't visit as much. I just caught this thread about the x39 mags and read through your review of the UniMag. I also wanted to add that there is some subsonic ammo out for the x39. PPU Subsonic Line, 7.62x39mm Thoiug maybe you would like to know.

    Thanks...I appreciate the info.

    I admittedly am not really in the 'subs' camp as it turns a rifle round into effectively a pistol round, but they do have their place.
