    C Products

I would like to request that everyone keep the C Products bashing to a dull roar, out of respect for them. I talked to their QC manager yesterday. He feels terrible about the issues everyone's been having. They had a bad batch of followers. It happens in the industry. All you can do once it's done is try to fix it as it comes. They're really good people, and are doing their best to take care of everyone.

This has affected us as well - our 7.62 has come under criticism as a result. It's a batch of sticky followers, people. It was an unfortunate happening, but C Products cares about their products as much as we do, and are working hard to make sure everyone gets the resolution they need. My heart goes out to them, because we've had similar issues here. One year we got a bad batch of gas blocks, and sent rifles and gas block upgrades out only to have them all come back on us. You, our customers, were patient and understanding then. I ask that you do the same for C Products.

That's good to know that there were in fact defects in the product.

I'll be getting my gen III's from 44mag.com sometime this month and hopefully they will work as my other two gen III's.

Was this recent or a past issue? I note they are on the third generation so how come three generations of magazines in such a short time if the only issue was bad followers? Not trying to be an arse, but checking if I missed something.

originally, the spring was the issue. They changed from a 20 coil spring to a 23 coil spring, and that solved the issue. Then list last generation - Gen II??? got the sticky followers. All the ones going out recently have been fixed, but the last shipment we got a while back have the sticking problem.

This is what I regret the VERY MOST! This whole deal is making Our 7.62's look bad AND THEY ARE NOT THE PROBLEM!! I would ask that EVERYONE PLEASE STOP BASHING OUR XCR's and give CProducts some time here to make things right! They are really trying to do right by us and they are good people. Things like this happen when people gear up quickly and go like the dickens in reaction to the "Obamaziation" of the USA! Takes me back to all the crap that we had with the "college boys" and the M-16, weak spring and unchromed bolts, etc.........at least this is nothing like that!! Thanks Ya'll!

Perhaps that explains the two different types of followers I have in my Gen II magazines??

They're also putting a new finish on the magazines, which may have aggravated the issue.

Also, they have new 13 coil springs too.

Well at least they are changing the magazine trying to cure the issues instead of ignoring them like some companies have a tendency to do,not just firearm companies.I'm sure they will eventually get all the bugs worked out.The new finish looks more durable that the old...anyone have any input on that?

The finish is still just as vulnerable as the last. It was already scrapping off after using the magazine once. But, at least it looks better and as long as the mag works, screw the finish. Ill use it till the stainless shines underneath. Maybe Ill be able to blind my opponent if I run out of bullets.
