    The last of the VEPRs

I know, I know. The VEPR is not an XCR. but this *is* the sales forum...
Whatever the case, Alex has decided to ship out the last of our VEPRs. There are 8 or 9 of the .308s left, and 4 of the 5.45x39s. They're going to be going for about $1000 each. I know it seems a bit steep, but that's what we're going to sell them for. If you know anyone that wants one desperately, spread the word. These are the last ones we have, and I don't think we'll ever get any more in. Just thought I'd let you all know.

And to think, I bought mine NIB for just over 600, and sold it for $480.

Man, I want a 5.45x39 ak so bad, and the vepr's are so nice... Just a bit more than I'm willing to spend on one right now though :-[

Speaking of prices, though... I was talking to a customer the other day who paid $1200 for his VEPR, purchased through another private owner. He was telling me that the few of the 7.62x39s he could find in his area were going for $1600. Wow. Just... Wow.

I don't mean to stomp on Terra's thread and tell me if this is out of line and I will delete it. In the Austin Texas paper today:

Russian AK-47 VEPR II with scope $500 firm.

I am not familiar with the rifle and have no other info about it. If anyone is interesed-email me- and I will give you the phone number on the ad. Don't want to post it on the net.

Did Alex post that there is no more VEPR's yesterday?
