When viewing this photo...remember it is direct sunlight...the 2 weapons closest to you are Sage or foliage green the back XCR-L is ACU gray/green....inside a house they are much darker.....use the black pieces of the weapon as reference.....KermitZ
7.62x39 XCR-L 16" light barrel Flat dark earth cerakoated (note Outside Diameter of 7.62x39 or 7.62x51 barrels is larger than OD on 223/556 barrel)
So a "lighter" profile 7.62x39 barrel does exists, very interesting. Any idea what the OD measurement is?
Thanks for the pictures, but like you said, the direct sun light makes it hard to see the ACU detail on the back one.

Is the light profile .308 a chrome lined one?

Sean.....chrome lined and your "order" left today FEDEXKermitZ
Thank you for the measurements. Little over 1/10 of an inch reduction from older 7.62x39 barrel ... Hmmmmmmm......Is the barrel under the handguard the same OD as forward of gas block, or thicker?
Sorry for all the questions, but I wouldn't mind reducing the weight when using 7.62x39 setup. I'm really starting to warm up to this caliber now that I have shot it a bunch. BTW, that -M looks great with the lighter barrel and mini upper....
