Due to medical problems, I am giving up shooting as a hobby. I was almost killed at the end of 2015 with an undiagnosed illness, and after 2 years of recovery, and getting to about 85% of my health back, it hit harder and longer in January of this year. 13 specialists and 3 hospitals later, I finally have a diagnosis, Lupus, and now I’ve been in treatment since may, it took until September to be able to return to work, and it is still unknown what my prognosis is.

So up for sale is my rifle. I bought it used here many years ago. Had a trigger job done by the guy who’s name I’ve forgotten that everyone here recommended at the time. I don’t know if the paint is cerekote or duracoat, but it’s desert tan. I have an ezed adapter and black acr stock on it.

Also available is a fast 2 stock, an eotech site on a gg&g quick disconnect, a vortex magnifier on a twist away quick disconnect mount, a mueller 8-32x scope on a quick disconnect mount, a great drago bag with enough capacity fo 10 30-round magpul magazines, a central porch that holds the eotech and magnifier an additional pouch for misc supplies. Has handles and backpack straps. Heavy duty. Well built. Also a quick disconnect bipod.

I liked shooting small targets at 300 yards.

I won’t sell off the extras separately until I sell the rifle. I won’t part out the rifle.

I’m happy to answer questions, but I haven’t kept up with innovation on the platform and don’t know a lot about the different versions.

This gun was put away dirty when I got sick in 2015 and has been in its case uncleared until today. I put about 2500 rounds through it, and I think the initial owner put about 1000. This forum, especially seank helped me get it running increasingly reliably while I was using it.

After some small tweaks it was running 100% reliably with everything from cheap Russian ammo to bulk purchased US ammo and hand loaded premium ammo. No jams. No failures to cycle.

2 weeks and no interest? I’m fairly motivated and easy to work with. Will consider aggressive offers. I’ve plunked a lot of steel and punched a lot of holes, and it ran reliably. Never gave me a moments problem once seank helped me get it tuned.

Here’s a chance to get a good deal on a slightly older model with the acr stock.

    Rob,

    Just a suggestion:

You may want to reinstall the FAST and sell the ACR/Ezed adapter separately. You can probably find a buyer for the ACR/Ezed stock set up pretty quickly and people are willing to pay a lot for them generally speaking.

Now I could be totally wrong and someone may want the whole rifle just b/c of the stock/adapter.....so you may want to leave that as an option.

Selling a complete rifle right now, especially an older XCR is unfortunately likely to be a pretty hefty loss.

    Just a thought.

I’m ok taking a loss. Shooting was a hobby, and hobbies cost money. I don’t need to recoup every penny, I just want it to go to a good home instead of turn into a useless pile of rust.

I’m moving to MA and the rifle is the thing I can’t bring. I can bring the parts and accessories and sell them there, but not the rifle or magazines (which I will list soon).

I haven’t kept up with this. Tell me key features of each type, or serial number ranges and I can figure it out.
