I've been cheating lately. Been buying 100% processed once fired Lake City brass from TOPBrass. It has been cleaned, polished, sized, reamed,& trimmed @ $92.50/ 1,000. Now they have primed 100% for $120.00/ 1,000. This is the best once fired, I've ever come across in 20+years of realoading. Out of 10,000 rounds I've bought I can only think of 1 cull in the bunch & they usely throw in extras. When I get a 1,000 in, I hand prime & inspect them while watching TV. Then when I go to the press all I have to do is powder feed, seat bullet, & LEE factory crimp.

Hey Texas, Please provide our readers with a web address for Topbrass. That is a good deal on brass...... let someother poor bastard process it for you the first time. :duh: :duh: :duh:

As far as my brass pickerupper I bought it at a gun show. Handy as the devil, don't know if it's on the web. I've never seen it before, nor since.

I've been reading through the manuals. Bench shopping will come at some other time. Maybe tomorrow.

Sears and Sams do some nice heavy benches that will do the job.

I found a B&D Workmate that a lot of people use at Lowe's today. Put it together, drilled holes for my press, and mounted it up (without really torquing the screws down... I've got to disassemble it to fit it in the car to head home after New Year's...) Anyhow, here it is. I'm also planning to mount my Forster case trimmer, and if I get one, a Dillon Super Swager.

I'm hoping this will do a decent enough job and hold me over till I move this coming year and have space for a full size workbench.
