A few years ago I had a pic of me taken wearing my tac vest, holding the M1A, and a tinfoil hat on my head. Unfortunately I no longer have it.

I have a tinfoil hat you can borrow. Just make sure I get it back.

This beauty is gonna be refinished in multicam soon. I'm just not sure if I should try and do it in duracoat or send it off to be dipped.

Multicam is extremely difficult to do because of the way some of the colors fade in & out, as well as how colors both overlap and underlap other colors. Ie- you can't just paint this color, then the next color on top, then the next on top, etc. If you want true Multicam, I'd recommend having the gun dipped - in the end the cost will be worth the time & effort (and frustration) of trying to duplicate Multicam yourself.

I used Duracoat last year to paint the stock on my "M14 Carbine" using several colors/layers, sort-of ala Multicam, and a "digital" camo pattern coupled with sort-of a snakeskin scales effect. Several pictures of the entire process can be seen here - http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/10...M14%20Carbine/
