Thanks! Wow, they have a great selection of Multicam accessories as well.

Multicam is extremely difficult to do because of the way some of the colors fade in & out, as well as how colors both overlap and underlap other colors. Ie- you can't just paint this color, then the next color on top, then the next on top, etc. If you want true Multicam, I'd recommend having the gun dipped - in the end the cost will be worth the time & effort (and frustration) of trying to duplicate Multicam yourself.

I used Duracoat last year to paint the stock on my "M14 Carbine" using several colors/layers, sort-of ala Multicam, and a "digital" camo pattern coupled with sort-of a snakeskin scales effect. Several pictures of the entire process can be seen here - http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/10...M14%20Carbine/

Thanks! I think I can do it.

I just dropped my gun off to be dipped. Not sure what the price will be but it should turn out real nice. I gave them my scope too, hope it it water resistant enough for them to dip it.

I think I want to give this a try to. I will practice on stuff like toys first.

Seems like such a waste of time and effort to use Krylon. Duracoat seems like the easiest way to go for a more permanent finish.
