    Leatherwood Hi-Lux CMR4

I'm wondering if anyone has tried one of these. Leatherwood Hi-Lux CMR4 1-4x24mm Rifle Scope w/ Illuminated CMR4 Ranging Reticle FREE S&H CMR4-AK762, CMR4, CMR4-R, CMR4-AK762-R. Leatherwood Rifle Scopes. Seems like a good scope but stats don't tell the entire story.

Had one on an AK. Decent glass and build quality. Nice reticle. Only downside is weight.

I think I can handle that, I have the Trijicon TR24R on my -l, and I just want to be able to reach out a bit further on the -m while keeping as much consistency as I can possibly get. Thanks for the feedback.

I have one of the original CMR's and it has held up very well. Only complaint is the illumination knob has gotten a wee bit loose over time. Still functions fine though.

As said above, it is a little heavy, but I would buy one again if needed.

I have one whit the green reticle and love it. Everyone that shoots it is impressed with the sight picture. It's set on the Burris PEPR QD mount. Seems to work well. Like this:

Resurrected thread. I've had the exact same setup ^ on a Sig 5.56R (7.62x39) and it has worked great. No problems. Good value for the money. Probably has about 700 rounds under it, and has been removed and replaced without losing zero. As a 4x, your accuracy tops out at 500-600 yards, and the drop of the cartridge exceeds the scope's ability to dial up elevation. Not an issue for me with the rifle it is on.
