RMR and 3x Magnifier (Burris AR-Tripler)

So this is the situation. Maybe one of you gentlemen has some experience with this. I do want to spending $$ running around like a chicked with it's head cut off.
I put the RMR on the L at Absolute Co-witness with the BUIS. I wanted a 3x on there similar to how I had a setup with All Eotech (red dot and magnifier) - long story.
So got from Primary Arms at a never before seen price of $99 for the Burris.
The problem it seems when compared to the All Eotech setup and this setup is what appears to be a really bad parallax issue. I contacted PA and they said, 'A magnifier like the Burris Tripler may not be the best setup for magnifying a red dot like a Trijicon RMR. Your alignment, sight picture, and cheek weld would have to be perfect to not experience issues with it. '
I am thinking about returning the Burris but don't want to do so and run around trying other magnifiers if the RMR is part of the issue.

I find due to the size and shape of the Trijicon RMR, the lense tends to 'fish bowl' and distort. This might be causing you the parallax issue you discribed when magnified.

What FF said. I don't think I've ever seen RMR being run with a magnifier.

the 1 moa center on an eotech is gorgeous through a magnifier, the 2 moa slash of an aimpoint not so much.

    Merlin, check this out https://www.full30.com/video/be65b3e...d0a996e422f02c

If you need to find a new home for the RMR and have a Glock, Brownell's RMR cut slides are fairly reasonably priced.

I think Suarez cuts factory slides for $150...as another option.

Lots of options for slide cutting. Lone Wolf ($100 and up), Parker Mountain Machine ($135 and up), Jagerwerks ($125 and up), etc. Some of these guys do other makes as well.

Thanks Guys, I have seen the Holosuns in Ads but always thought that they were hit or miss and that they are made overseas? I have placed that project on the back burner for now and keeping the RMR on the L w/o a magnifier, it has an 11" barrel anyway.
I am kinda waiting to see that new 7.62 lower as I have a 16" barrel here which I want to use to hunt hog one of these days. So I could use maybe the Holosun or the like with a 3x then.
