Robinson web page for parts compatibility... FINALLY!!!

    Gents,

Holly sent me this link today. Finally a solid resource for parts info. It looks like my sticky is close to obsolete.

Too bad they don't make a FAST 3 in a FAST 1 length.

There's a fast 2 listed on the latest price list. Still trying to get some clarification. I'm waiting to hear back from Holly if it's cool for me to post the list bit I'll get it up as soon I can.

The type 2(short stroke) is apparently a thing now for the L. I've got a set on order for my mini. Once I get the parts, I plan doing a side by side with the type 1/3 to see if there's much/any difference.

Current retail pricing is in the link on the page from the OP. I won't be posting it up here since formatting has been a pain in the ass.

Great news. I would like to see the FAST 3 stock compared lengthwise to the FAST 1 stock.

That is a pretty swanky parts compatibility page!!! I really like it. A few things missing are the previous folders--fal style and AR. A bit on the safeties, the different cuts on the receiver for wider openning and the change in rails. I realize this has nothing to do with compatibility except maybe the safeties, but just for completeness sake. Maybe I missed a few other changes, too. But, I really appreciate Robinson doing this. Thanks for sharing NATE.

I have to say, I love that picture of the XCR SCAR! That is the image that hooked me in the first place. I still love the tube folder! The only improvements over the original design that I think made DRAMATIC improvements to this platform are the second gas system(my favorite) and the 2nd gen trigger. The rest of the stuff is OK and much of it definitely improvements, but I still run my old XCR the most. I just love that old beast.

Me too! I remember seeing the ads in shotgun news, when they where still selling AKs...the XCR looked a little photo shopped or just mocked up, but I really wanted one!

Now if they only had a web store to easily buy typical replacement parts without having to deal with middle man and messaging back and forth, trying to decide what version you haven't know if parts will fit.
