    Heavy Hammer Spring

Ok, after a few light primer strikes on some tulla 7.62x39 I figured it was time to upgrade to the heavy hammer spring. Just for the sake of compatibility, since I have 2 xcr's the other in 5.56. Is there any issue with just putting the heavy spring in both my lowers?

The only issue with the spring that I've found is that it tends to raise the trigger pull a bit.

You should be able to tell by the colour. If memory serves me right it is the "browner" looking one.

Just checked. It is lighter brownish look vs silver. Heavy Spring check. Thanks.

Ditto...the heavier hammer spring made my nice smooth well broken in Gen I trigger group pull very heavy. I put back in the standard and had no failures to fire 7.62x39 in MY XCR.

The "newer" springs are all darker in color. The original "standard" spring was shiny silver. I sold my last Heavy spring to G2 so don't have a side by side pic. Best way to tell... looking at the spring with the "feet" on the bottom(flat on a table) there will be 4 coils on the standard, 3 on the heavy.

In the "XCR options/changes" sticky on the XCR-L section, there's a picture in the first post.

Yup. I have the heavy in there...however G2 did his magic on the trigger too...so its very Geissele SSA feeling.
