The mount for the 34mm is 1.23 in high. I temporarily put on my ARMS22 mount with a USOptics scope which is .925 inches, and it is low but doable so I figure the SL will be just about right. There should be plenty of clearance. Only one way to find out. Thanks.
I ended up ordering the ADM AD-RECON-SL and the taller AD-RECON-S. Both worked for up-right, low power quick aiming, but as I suspected the S was simply too tall for good cheek weld when using high power long range aiming, particularly in the prone position. Sending the S back. One thing I realized in this process was the benefit of a sloping comb (as opposed to the straight horizontal in the AR platform) as it adds one more bit a flexibility in finding the right position for the cheek. Everything is a compromise when trying to find a do-all low-power-short-range-high-power-long- range optic position, but I think I got the right set up for myself. Have not zeroed or put under recoil yet, but seems like a very nice mount. Thanks.
