Well still haven't heard back and I am in definite need of a screw kit. The screw looks like this, I had to use a screw remover, good thing the screw is hollow so the drill bit had somewhere to guide. The metal is really soft but magnetic so it is not aluminum.

Noticed a few other things with the UBR and the XCR adapter.
The tube does bottom out as seen in this picture. So what I am thinking of doing is drill the tube and get a longer screw to go through the adapter and the tube to further secure it.

When you bottom the tube out though this will happen and the Dremel I will have to use there B. to clean it up and paint. Just a little beveling.

Didn't receive a response to the email so I decided to call Magpul today and try ordering the screws for the cheek piece and the one in the back for the tube. Spoke to a nice lady named Lynette and she said that they will send me the new screws, no charge, had the CC waiting too ready to pay.

Thought about buying a new tube too since the threads are a little messed up on the part that screws into the adapter. But decided not to as I am going to drill through it anyway for the retention/indexing screw at the bottom of RA's adapter. So my OCD about that will be forgotten soon anyway at my age.

I imagine Magpul gets thousands of emails per day. They probably don't even look at it.

Only thing is though they sent the tube and Not the screw to hold the stock on. They were so good about it I don't feel like bothering them about one screw so I will see if I can find one or two locally. It looks like it is 1/4"-28x3/4" with a 1/2" flat head.

Thanks, I looked there and found a 'mil spec' screw that fits the bill, think it is 8$+ for 10, #3 Phillips SS and not vented. There is a local place that I us to get stuff for the car that has Grade 8 and specializes in screws, nuts and bolts I will try too.

Thank you for contacting us. Sorry the narrow cheek riser that allowed you to add our cheek risers is no longer available as that was discontinued some tone ago. As for the screw get us your contact info and we can send out a replacement.
Received the above response to my email (never thought I would, it was so long). Again, Kudos to MAGPUL on their Excellent Customer Service!!Name: THUMWINK.GIF
