Well I had some free time the other morning so I ran out and put some rounds on paper.
This is what I shot.
Federal Gold medal .308 175
federal gold medal .308 168
Federal gold medal 7.62x51mm 175
Hornady 178 matc
hornady 168 amax
Some hand loads that I had here for another rifle
I shot 8 groups with match ammo total using the above ammo.
The best group was from the federal gold 168's with a .474
The average from all match ammo groups shot was .696
I did shoot a quick group of 4 with surplus ammo and it did 1.7 with 3 rounds right at a inch. So not to bad.
Barrel is a Brux cut rifled stainless steel 1-10.
Muzzle is .740
Just behind the gas block is .920
Scope is a Vortex 6-24 PST mounted in a ADM mount
I did shoot the groups above with a suppressor that is not shown in the pictures.
I've talked a good friend of mine who is a better shot than me to take the gun out (minus the suppressor) some time this weekend so hopefully I'll get some better groups from him.
If you happen to get barrel extensions and gas blocks for the XCR-L, please post further. I would order at least 3 custom barrels from you in a heartbeat: a 7.62x39 Micro @10" bbl, a 5.56 Micro @ 10" bbl, and a .300 BLK Micro @ 10" bbl. Probably more later.
Is there any way for you to make me a barrel without me sending you the gasblock/barrel from my XCR-M? I'm uncomfortable in being without it for more than a few days. If it's possible, I'd very much like to discuss having one made. Thanks!
Right now is not a good time as it's crazy busy here.
I'll try and keep every one here updated.
