Give it a shot with some Sierra 178gr's. The 1-10 twist LOVES that bullet. I can push 1/2" or less groups with my -M @ 100 yards.

lots of good info here. I haven't had much of a chance to get my M out yet, but I think I need to heat up my loads a little. This would make sense, as my L loves things a little hotter.

Mind telling us the rest of the recipe? Most people seem to be using Varget and CCI but I'm wondering if there's anything special you are doing.
It's all fun and games till you get off at Auschwitz.

So I went out around a week ago and sighted in at 50 yds. Very sub moa group with 168 gr.Nosler match over 41.5 gr. of Varget. At 100 yd it opened up to 1.47 moa This was through a 2.5-10 power scope. I think next time I'll use a bit more magnification. As well I'm not 100% convinced I like the fast stock for accuracy shooting.

So went out today and ran some 168 SMK's through and some 178 Amaxes. Looking good. more 168's and the initial group was around .7 moa. 178's a little bigger. Around an inch plus. Then I went on to run around twenty or so through and the group grew to about 1,5 inches. 2.5 with the called fliers. So I gotta say I'm impressed. Pictures posted later. I want to fine tune a few things and then it'll be a before and after thing. Oh, the load was 41.5 Gr. of Varget in Remington brass for both bullets. Federal match primers.

Great to hear you're having some luck! I've got about 4k through mine now and I am really starting to reload ALL of my ammunition. I load 41gr of IMR 8208XBR over federal match primers in LC brass (What I could get for cheap and in bulk). I've had mixed results with 175 and 178gr bullets. She loves the 168's (SMK) and doesn't seem to be fond of the 175 Barnes BTHP. I'm still waiting to get some 178gr SMK's. Funding and all that.

    Show us some pic's!

Back out a while ago and 1 flyer, 3 sub moa 5 in a 1.5 moa group. My home number is 780-433-2136. If Mr. Robinson wants to call me I think I can make this rifle ,as well as all the other XCR's sub moa. By the way, don't phone me unless you're a machinist that can supply me with what I need, here in Alberta, or the man himself. I know what my abilities are and I have access to people that are professional shooters. lets make this work. Not coming off as an A-Hole, but I hear all sorts of crap about these guns and yet I seem to hold my own against the AR crowd with my XCRs, My M kicks ass.
