    Magazine pouches for the -M

Just thought I'd let everyone know that Blackhawk is producing my favorite style of magazine pouches now.

I've always liked the Diamondback Tactical mag pouches, but when they "restructured" the company - away from the old BattleLabs and into almost totally body armor - they quit making pouches and such. Since they recently restarted making pouches, I haven't seen their trademark style pouch made for 308 mags.

I'll stop by Blackhawk's place at the SHOT show to make sure on quality before I buy, but they've always had pretty good quality - even if they are owned by (UGH!) ATK. There are TWO options on their stuff though - one is 100% made in the USA, the other is typically a couple of bucks cheaper per pouch, and made over seas.

The prices are pretty decent on opticsplanet and such. Here's some links:

    BlackHawk Tier Stacked Magazine Pouch M4/FAL 37CL119 37CL119CT, 37CL119MC, 37CL119OD, 37CL119BK. BlackHawk Magazine Pouches.

    BlackHawk SR25/M14 Single Magazine Case 37CL115MC, 37CL115CT, 37CL115BK, 37CL115OD. BlackHawk Magazine Pouches.

Now if someone could help me get these at a discount, I'd appreciate it - I'll do a bulk order ;-)

I have a Optics Planet discount code for $15 off, not sure that helps? D624794. Doubt I'll be buying anything soon.

I went to HSGI Taco pouches and haven't looked back. One set up does it all for the diverse weapons owner.

The Taco is interesting for the flexibility. How does the cord stand up over time?

I have had my set up for about two years now. The cord is adjustable so it doesn't over stress when going from an AR mag to an HK91 mag. Loosen the chord, insert the mag, tighten the cord so the mag is held firm. My set up has been through a few classes and held tight. They have a lifetime guarantee so if a cord goes bad send it in for replacement.
