    Cool. Picked up a D5100 a while back and still haven't figured out all that it can do. You photos make want to expand beyond the point and click mode I'm in now.

    Takes more than a camera to take good pictures. Even cellphone cameras are getting quite good now.

    A good picture is easily 50% how it's framed....a good photographer can get a long way.

    Now when the eye meets the right tools (like say....PDbreske) that's when we all get to kick back and go "wow."

    I completely agree. I remember saving up for my dream camera as a child, a Nikon FE, and having to take detailed notes on each shot per the Aperature/F stop film speed so I could see my results after I developed the film. I'm getting proud of my one son as he watched Jaws the other night and he was pointing out to me his observations on what he thought the better composition shots were in the film.

    Again, nice pictures!!

    Couple questions; how do you like the Magnifier? How did you keep the UBR from rotating, I didn't think the adapter from Robinson had the notch to accomplish that.
