Photos of longer barrels in mini uppers?

Anyone have a longer (16+) barrel in a mini upper receiver? Wondering if it looks silly...

    Thanks

Wasn't that the famed SF rifle?

well...I think the SF was more of a myth as it had the short gas system as well, but did not work if I recall

The SF was just a full length gas system with the mini upper and exposed gas tube, 14.5" light bbl, pinned/welded hider.

does not look that bad... but the full rail looks so much better (with the longer barrel).

I recall a picture that was called the SF that had a mini upper, mini gas system, and a full length(14.5 pinned I'm sure) barrel......I would have to look to find it though. That is what I wanted when I first came to the forum, but it was deemed a no-go as the timing wouldn't work.....

E.T.A...I found it, and here is a link to one thread that was mentioning it

Check out the pic in the thread on the Canadian Spec Key-Mod. It looks like a short upper with an 18.6" barrel.

Looks like a normal length upper to me.
