Do what you've always done, get what you've always got. ----- Have gun. Will travel.
Ammo: handload 69 grn SMK
BENCH: YES
DISTANCE: 100 YARDS
CALIBER: .223 (SMK)
GAS SETTING: 3
SNACK MACHINE: I ate lunch before going shooting.
I shot 30 rounds of the 69 grn hand load fed from an Elander mag. Some 5 shot groups and some 3 shot groups. Average group size was probably .75 in. I shot some of my 3 gun "burner" loads and they shoot 1" to 1.25 all day. They are just 55 grn. Hornady. FMJ.
Pretty damn good! A little disappointing about the snack machine.

Have you tried anything heavier, like the 77gr SMK? Do you have a chrono? Some muz-v numbers would be cool.
What kind of primers, powder, and powder weights?
Pretty impressive!

I have run some 77 Gr. TMK. they shot great in the winter. Not so much in the summer. I haven`t revisited them as they are hardef to find than unicorn babies and cost even more. I will not give the exact load that I am using with the 69 gr. due to liability. I will say this H4895 and they are HOT. I am using Mil. brass.I just picked up some Nosler custom competition that I am goiing to start playing with. I am also showing promising results with Hornady 60 gr. VMAX. although I`m not surre how they will be much after 300 yd.
