    magik,

It's a Pentagon MS2 light. Output of LED white light is 100 lumens, it's very bright!

This thing was throwing the brass so far and so hard I was tempted to turn the gas down a notch anyway, but I resisted. More range time today when my buddie 1redgmc has booked a shoot. I told him to bring his check book as I know he will want one! As for the barrel, I can see another one inch coming off the barrel, but you couldn't get another half an inch on top of that. Thanks for the comments.

It has left me with more like a "Glock" trigger than a DAO Sig trigger. I am quite pleased with it and hopefully it should get better still.

I will find out more information on the mod. and post it if you like.

Yes please do! I would be interested in this mod.

Roy I already replied once with compliments on your beautiful new XCR, but it has left such an impression that I am now using the top photo as my desktop wallpaper. Hope you don't mind. Nice Fall picture I think.

I would also be interested in the set screw mod instructions if you have the time. Thanks!

I hate the idea of giving the BATFE $200 for a right I already have, but this set of photos has pretty much made me decide to go ahead with the SBR as soon as I can scratch up the disposable income. I may wait and do this to the 7.62 X 39 XCR. Great pictures Roy. Absolutely SWEET! >

Roy, that's a real beauty. That top image is great photography, too. Congrats on your new baby. Have fun.

That Bi-Pod is a "Tango Down Advanced Combat Bipod" and is very well designed and built. It won't live on this weapon, I just put it on there for zeroing of the sights. I' might save that for the XCR-M in 7.62 Nato ;D

I took my new SBR XCR back out to the range again today to let my friend 1redgmc have a shoot. Well I will let him post his comments on my rifle, but again it work flawlessly with another 100 rounds down range. I was even thinking about dropping back the gas setting to #3 as the shells were being ejected a good 15 to 20 feet from the shooter.

I am continued to be impressed by this rifle and it's performance. I want another XCR in 7.62 NATO.

Thanks for looking, and thanks for the positive comments.

Before I traded off my XCR I switched to gas setting 3. I liked it more than gas setting two. The increase in recoil was barely there, but it made feeding and extraction better and more reliable with all types of ammo
