I hate you............. Your rifle is on my list. Can you tell me how you started?

I was thinking of buying a 556 patrol and cutting it down, did you do the pistol SBR thing?

    However,

Mr Smitty..... You have perfection. That was the rifle I was "waiting for" that was the rifle that the "time had come" for. Screw you Sig for pissing on my dream of owning a rifle like that >

However, I did buy an XCR and once I get my mini-upper, will be much happier

Thanks guys. That stock is from AGP Arms. The entire stock assembly including the receiver plug and screws weighs only 11 ounces. With it and 552 style handguards, you can get a KISS set up down to a handy weight, even though stock 556s aren't lightweights.

It doesn't look thick enough to be a Noveske.

I'm still wondering where the cheek riser is? All I see is a bare stock.

That is the Levang Linear Compensator. Smaller and lighter than the KX3 I had on it. The stock/ hand guard/ muzzle device swap shaved a bunch of weight.

They say that the Levang is very close in performance to the KX3 (directing blast and noise forward of the shooter). I haven't made it to the range with it on there yet. There are no flats on it so a strap wrench is needed to get it on right. Compared to the KX3, it shaved 3-4 ounces, an inch or more in overall length and is $40 vs $125.

Reading up on it it looks like it would keep the pressure up to cycle the really short barrels. All those little ports must look pretty wicked at night!
When have any of our plans ever actually worked? We plan, we get there, all hell breaks loose.
