Nice! Is that a DOWN comforter?

Just kidding. Nice SBR. I'm envious. Why the cheek riser though?

Thanks. The riser gets the cheek weld perfect for the height of the Optics and BUIS.

    Why the cheek riser though?
If you look, the riser put your cheek in line with the top rail similar to how an AR stock, which is what the Eotech and most B.U.I.S's are designed to fit. It's the same reason a lot of people use/need some type of riser for the XCR to get a perfect cheekweld, because it's stock line is lower than the top rail.

Well consider this, look at how "high" the front sight and carry handle are on an M16.B.U.I.S's are designed to work with the front sight if there is one,and has a detachable carry handle.if you put low rings on an AR you can't mash your face into the stock enough to get into the scope.Low rings on an XCR work out pretty good, for me at least, because the stock is not in line with the scope rail.

When have any of our plans ever actually worked? We plan, we get there, all hell breaks loose.
