    New XCR Owner

Got my XCR a couple months ago. I'd got the heavy barrel and VLTOR stock. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet due to lack of ammo.

That looks nice. Those rail covers actually go well with the XCR. I don't like them at ALL on ARs.

Hey,that's the new Tapco mag,We need a range report on that jewel!! I have the same covers one mine,Someone here said they were crap(won't mention any names :),but they don't have to cost 40 bucks for a set to be "non-crap" : .I like mine, they stay put, have good traction, and keep my digits from getting smoked from a hot forend. All for $10 bucks, and you get 12 sections, enough to cover all three rails completely, who gives a shit whether they say Magpul? :duh:

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing worth a war, is worse.... A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.----John Stuart Mill
