    My XCR-L
    DD BUIS, TD fwrd grip, Ergo grip, VTAC light mount w/ Stremlight Super Tac, Trijicon RX-30 w/ flat top mount, not sure on the rail covers I picked them out at the store because they said the XCR came with them.

    I mean what a load of spewing... :

    I use the rifle for hunting and do not need the sights on the top rail or need to mount my scope so high that I have to look over them.

    I put the sights on the side rails so I didn't have to carry them around in my pocket/pack or forget them at home when I wanted/needed them on the rifle or I had a scope issue.

    Some of us actually use these rifles for more than paper... 8)

    Do what works for you definitely. But you have to admit, at first glance that looks kind of retarded.

    Now that i know how to post pics, Here is my 7.62mm. Took it shooting this past week end and loved it. Worth the wait, Im glad i didn't give up and just get an ar-15.
