War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing worth a war, is worse.... A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.----John Stuart Mill

The "Wings Over Homestead" air show was this weekend at Homestead Air Reserve Base south of Miami. Here's what I saw:

Long before I started hemorrhaging money for guns, I was spending like crazy on photo gear....

I can't wait until I can share gun stuff with my boy. 4 months old so he's got a few months to go.

I was fiddling with my 12.5" M4 in the living room while he was sitting in my wife's lap and he froze, staring intently at the gun. I smiled proudly, pointed at him and said, "This is your legacy boy." No shit, he smiled. Man I love that little dude.

I'll try to take a new picture with some of my other acquisitions soon and post it.

When the XCR and -M get rounded out with all their caliber conversions a picture like that would look awesome in the gun rags.
When have any of our plans ever actually worked? We plan, we get there, all hell breaks loose.
