    Either 6.5 x45 or 6 mm x 45

6.5 x45 or a 6 x45 would be the ultimate for me. That would be a dream for anyone who reloads. One would only need to buy the dies and bullets and now you have a steady supply of ammo for a great deer caliber. I tend to think the 45mm casing would power a 6 mm better than a 6.5mm however.

Doing some more research and knowing the 105gr 6mm are almost too tight of fit for the magazines i am now leaning towards a 6.5 mpc chambering.

No big shocker for some of us, since it took a while for them to bring the SP and MPT online a few years back. Good news though, AA has run over 2,800 rds of steel case in testing using the green laquer coating. Results so far have been positive from what Bill A. has said on the Grendel forum. Also, rumor is that the cost will be similiar to Wolf's 7.62 steel case loadings, although speculation is it may be a bit more during the initial rush.
The inexpensive steel cased ammo is due out in the first quarter 2014. The delay, they say, is instead of slotting it into the line of their current production, they went and built a whole new factory. They claim they will be making 1 million rounds a month.

We'll see. Perhaps Robarm, can finally get the Grendel 6.5 barrel/bolt kit out in time. Don't hold your breadth though.

Its best to use 1:8 twist for the Grendel 6.5 bullets. 1:9 is marginal for stabilization and get's worse as the bullets get heavier.
