Angry 2019 Assault Weapons Ban Introduced-Looks to Ban 205 "military-style assault weapons"

    Well here we go again.

    Details:
    https://www.feinstein.senate.gov/pub...D-C577212ED17B

Basically every firearm I own would be banned on this list. At least they are grandfathering in existing firearms but this is bull.

Thoughts? How badly is something like this going to affect RobArms and other US manufacturers?

Won't pass senate. Won't be signed into law by Trump.

I hope you're right. But with Trump banning Bump stocks, I wouldn't put it past him to sign this if it's attached to something he also wants.

Agreed. Trump's now famous "take the guns first, then due process" shows just how little this sack of shit understands the Constitution, its protections or our system of government. How we've allowed assclowns like this to get elected to the highest office in the land illustrates how idiotic we are as a citizenry.

I know I'm right. Look at the facts and quit freaking out over every little thing. What good does that do?? Just look at the numbers in the Senate. Whatever the house passes it has to go through the Senate as well. Then, the president has to either sign it into law or not. That IS the process. Trump is a fool. Impeachment is a long process. Even if that happens, the presidency would fall to Pence. Pence is not going to sign it unless he wants to draw the ire of the Republican base and all pro 2A campaign donors. After all, what happens in DC is all about money. All of this conjecture is moot. It simply will not pass the Senate. Come 2020, different story... probably. And, if you don't like that prospect, you can blame the GOP for falling for a con-man who is leading/dragging the entire party [and our rights] into a hole.

I wish we would get to the end game. I'm sick of worrying. I'm not blowing smoke, if it has to be done, let's get to it.
