    You can see where the bolt is hitting the barrel.
    I tried my 223 bolt in the 7.62 barrel to see if it would jam, no problems.

    Its hard to tell, but it looks a little like there is also a similar mark at 9:00 in that photo as well.....

    How about a pic of just the bolt and carrier from the top? If your 223 bolt is working with the 7.62x39 barrel, we'll assume the barrel/extension is not the problem for now.
    What we need to look at is the way the bolt/cam are engaging.

    A pic of the lug on top of the bolt that goes into the channel on the carrier and the top of the carrier. Top down.

    I noticed the x39 bolt has a rounded edge were it slides on the carrier.

    That lug is probably the issue. If the carrier has any wear that may make it worse. I'd try RA and see if they'll hook you up. Not sure what they'll chalk up to normal wear. The may have been a bad batch aging the line but it does look like that bolt has seen some Rds
