    Ribeye is the best cut because of all the marbling (aka fat) inside the meat. This "fat" is what gives Ribeye it's flavor and you should never marinate.

    Ribeye is so good that you can actually eat it raw, someone showed me this once. Just thinly slice it, use lime juice to cure for about a minute, and then put hot sauce, salt, and pepper to taste on it.. and bam! awesomeness without a heat.

    Are those beet greens? I love beet greens... I grow beets in my garden every year just for the greens.

    This thread motivated me to make pictures in a new thread! The way Loonster cooks his steak is almost exactly how I cook my steak.

    I used to only cook steaks on a charcoal grill, but then I read this thread about a grumpy old man that lived entirely on meat for 47+ years (eating mostly steak). He pan fried his steaks and considered cooking to be the art of raising meat to body temperature. I tried it, and I liked it (I prefer shallow frying over pan frying).
