    Smoked Cheese

    I just tried my hand at smoking cheddar cheese on my Big Green Egg. It turned out pretty good. I kept the temp. down to 100 degrees and used applewood chips soaked in water. Smoked it for about 1 hour. Next time I'll try putting a tray of ice below the cheese to keep it a little cooler, the cheese just barely started to melt on the outside. The kids are slicking it up as I type.

    Anyone tried this before, any suggestions?

    havn't tried to do it myself, but one of my fav's is smoked Gouda
