    Forum tech question?

    The way I usually go thru a forum I am a member of is;

    Hit new posts button in the header bar, then hit the little arrow next to the thread I want to read, (go to 1st newest post)

    Always worked great in the past, and on other forums I visit, (fnforum for example) but here It always takes me to the original post in the thread.

    Any ideas? Do I have something configured wrong?

    Not sure on that one. Is it doing it on all threads? Maybe under the new forum it thinks you haven't read any of them so it it taking you to the first one. Does it do it after you read a thread and then someone posts to it?

    that arrow in the list of forums will take you to that persons post, which was the last post made on most forums. it doesnt usually go to where you left off. the view first unread button is supposed to take you to where you left off but alass its broke too and has been reported to the techs

    ok, I thought it was me. Its the broken one that I use all the time ("view first unread" button) Hopefully the "Techs" can figure it out.

    Is there a way to implement the 'unread post' feature that we had on the old forum?

    Old forum 'Unread post' - Thread becomes read when clicked on.
    New forum 'New post' - Thread becomes read when clicked on or upon new visit.

    With the old system, I could read posts at my leisure and not forget which posts I didn't read. With the new system, I either have to read all the posts at once, or try to remember which ones I read.
