That 10 round mag limit sucks. Ohio just got rid of their anything over 30 rounds is a machine gun law so I dusted off my 40s.:-);-)

    It's worse than that.
Our semi-auto rifle magazines are limited to 5 rounds. Pistol mags are limited to 10.
If a pistol mag fits my rifle, I can run 10 rounds.
Your 40s would need limiting to 5.

I've mentioned before that some enterprising individual up North needs to start manufacturing .458 SOCOM magazines. How does one do that, you ask? Simply take what would otherwise be a standard-capacity (30-round) 5.56x45 magazine, and mark it as follows: "MAGAZINE, PISTOL, .458 SOCOM, 10 ROUNDS"

I'm certain folks would use them only as intended, and wouldn't try to fire 5.56 ammo out of a .458 SOCOM mag, because we all know that would cause civilization to collapse.

We do have .50 Beowulf mags, but we can't use .50 Beo pistol mags.
The neutered Beo mags hold 14(iirc) rounds of .223.

The Canadian Criminal Code regulates mag capacity. It states that I can use a pistol mag in my rifle, *if that pistol is "readily available" in Canada. The best I know, there are no registered Beowulf pistols in Canada. The same would go for .458
I like to see the light, in anything possible. The advantage with our law is, I'm forced to practice mag changes.

Yes it is, but for the record, the gun still functioned.

While the crack was there as seen, I bent it open for the pic.

EH! From the interior. 12000 plus.... wow. I've had mine for a couple weeks and put 5 to 600. Happy to hear that kind of accuracy after 12000.
