Sean, I use a pop blocker now in "Opera" the browser I use, it shows 16 blocked at the moment without any perceived issues. It might have to do with updating your Adobe Flash to a newer version. I believe that the ads mostly use Flash and not HTML5. If that doesn't work, try checking for any new updates for your browser as well.

Ive done some research to this before, and this is a fairly common issue with certain browsers. it can be a number of different things.

- shockwave being unstable. disabling or deleting this could help
- updating your flash and java to the lastest update
- any rogue extensions that "auto installed" on your browser without you knowing.
- malware or spyware has piggybacked your browser
- hardware acceleration could be incompatible with your system in general.
- Rogue Ad causing the issue as well.
- Cookies and cache are outdated and need to be cleaned
- temporary internet files on your back end are flooding and fighting for use. doing a disk clean up could help as well.

Again, a number of reasons could be causing this issue for you. Ive attached a link below to troubleshoot this on your browser end. take a look and try some fixes and see if this helps.

Recently when browsing the forum on my phone, posts aren't loading. If I'm using the mobile version of the forum, if I select a post to read, it just sits there spinning. Firefox on android. If I switch to the desktop version of the site, it loads fine.

mobile skin on Firefox is unstable and does not work most of the time. that's something on the browser end that we're waiting on them to update.
