    Honey Badger

Not sure if this has been discussed here yet, it was shown at the AUSA show last week. I think that the integration of the HK style for the collapsible stock is pretty cool.

Funny that in the comments someone said that the MP5 isn't even in use anymore and there is no need for something to replace it :duh: The Teams here take 2 out on every mission.

Very interesting. Especially the 6" barrel part. If a 6" barrel gives them the ballistics they want, I'm sure I shouldn't worry about the ballistics from my 7.5". Our Micro with a suppressor and our folding stock will be much much shorter overall that this Honeybucket thing. We are working with a major suppressor manufacturer on this very thing. More to come.

With SilencerCo being local to you and making some groundbreaking/innovating products it might make a good match. They are bring rifle Silencers to market soon.

    Re: Honey Badger

I have a suppressed XCR with a 7.5 barrel on a mini upper that is the proverbial shit!!!! Alex let me mess with a mini upper and get the gas block to fit into the receiver allowing more hand room on the front end. The only exposed part of the barrel as a result is the threaded part. When the can is installed, it looks like a big fat barrel sticking out the end. Awesome... By far my favorite rifle. Shooting it is a treat and it works flawlessly. 1600 rounds and counting...

OPS Inc makes a helluva quiet can. Mounted on the MK12's they sound GREAT! This is promising news and I am glad to hear that there is a way to get the gas system to clear the receiver.

I'm definitely looking forward to hearing more about this project.

I'm not gonna lie, due to recent developments I have been considering buying an XCR again...
