I use 550 chord to attach my sling to the swivel point with a quick release about 6" from the connection. Cost and combat effective.
It's all fun and games till you get off at Auschwitz.

That sound too logical. If I went that way, I wouldn't have spent hours researching the subject. Also, I had to prove to magpul I was a U.S. citizen in order to get that "restricted" information, unbelievable.

    Saaaaa-nayag!
Thanks Dudeski! That's a great tip right there!
Do you really think we want laws to be observed? We want them broken. There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. When there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be crimes that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants law-abiding citizens? Pass the kind of laws that can’t be observed, enforced, or objectively interpreted - and you create a nation of law-breakers.

Pretty simple configuration, just loop the 550 through with your favorite knot and have the quick release rest on your shoulder when the weapon is free hanging. This allows for a fast disconnect with either hand in most any situation. Cost about $5.Xcr m sling any ideas????-photo-4.jpgXcr m sling any ideas????-photo-5.jpg

    Dude

Who gives a flying rats butt if it's both functional and cheap??? Where the hell is the Tacti Cool factor? Where the heck is the the slick QD mount on the stock so if your life depends on detaching your sling in a millisecond, you can?

Needless to say, I'm being sarcastic. Nice ingenuity.
If assholes could fly, this place would be JFK international.
