I'm excited by the sleeker forend and lighter weight but also can't wait to get a review on the new bolt/carrier.

Is it confirmed that rifles are shipping with the new bolt?

Upon closer inspection of the photo, it looks like the carrier has some fluting, similar to the M. I would guess the pictured rifle has the new bolt.

I had Taylor machine one of my uppers. Shaved the side and bottom rails and milled vents to match the factory vents. It cut 8ozs off the upper. I imagine the key mod would be within that range. Assuming similar measurements on the rest of the upper.

Where are the American ones with 16" barrels?

RA said in a shot show vid that the keymod guns weigh .4lbs less than regular guns.

Canada usually gets the first order because the xcr is unrestricted there and Wolverine Supply orders so many at a time.

Heck, it's practically a foriegn military contract for Robarms. Hah!

Wolverine Supplies is the sole importer of RA products to Canada, so no matter how you buy an XCR in Canada, whether at your LGS, or online, it was imported by Wolverine Supplies. (BTW, Wolverine has GREAT customer service. They simply "get it right'.)
