NiB coating XCR parts

Has anyone done it? Any issues or problems?

Looking to do the bolt and carrier and possibly the trigger and gas tube. I would love to do the the whole firearm but I don't think there is anyway to paint or coat the outside back to black or at least a dark color.

I bought a used mini upper off the forum several years back, with nib op rod and carrier. Haven't noticed a difference in performance relative to my standard parts. The guy didn't do the bolt because robar said the nib on nib between the bolt and carrier wasn't going to give him anything extra performance wise.

Not sure what the extra cost was to do another part. Even my dirtiest bolts will usually clean up quickly with a few swipes of a oil soaked tooth brush. The stuff that is on my carrier and op rod has stained pretty good.
