For those curious I used 1.75 cups of simple green extreme and 1.9 gallons of distilled water. I let the parts soak for around 15 min as the tub heated up to 140 deg. I then ran the cleaner for a thirty min cycle, took out the aluminum parts and ran a second 10 min cycle at 140 deg.
Worked like a charm.
I've never seen these parts this clean. It took everything off them, with the exception of a very small amount of carbon on the break. A carbon scraper made very quick work of that.
