    Non-folding stock?

If I order a non-folding stock (cheaper $) can it be removed later in case I change my mind and buy a folder?

Yes. It requires removing one or two bolts and sliding the first unit out then sliding the new one in and replacing the bolt(s).

Happy to help. I'm just too lazy to go look on my own XCR to see how many bolts it really is, but it is cake. Invest in a goo hex driver set. All the bolts and screws are hex-heads(no stripping the slots like on phillips or flat head screws) so having a good driver set is essential.

You've never had a hex head round off on you? Its probably the most annoying thing in the frikin world. But your right, it is a lot less likely to happen. Mostly happens when silly people try to use metric with English or English with metric, just off enough to wreck everything.
