    ....wow....i had idly considered whether something like this was possible when the rhinos dropped but figured it was an engineering nightmare.

    Ya, I read the $5K price tag for this year since it's basically a boutique race gun with limited release. It all depends on if this thing catches on. Keep in mind, it has some heritage all the way back to J.M. Browning designing the FN M1900 and even the HK P7 so it's not exactly new, but kind of like the XCR....a mix of several good designs. How reliable it is remains to be seen. That delayed blowback and piston may mean dumping a lot of fouling into the action.
