ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations Seize Website Illegally Selling Weapon and Suppressor Components from China

According to the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement website, a Chinese company illegally selling weapons and suppressor components in the United States has been seized following a Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) investigation that took place with the assistance of the US Customs and Border Patrol (CBP).

The website in question, This Site Has Been Seized has had its domain seized in accordance with an international arms-trafficking investigation. HSI found that some 350 suppressors that have been seized across the United States were purchased through lafoauto.com being sold as automotive parts and being imported as such.

Many of you have probably seen such advertisements on social media platforms offering to sell certain items that appear to be automotive parts. Lafoauto was one such website and it seems that ICE and HSI have managed to not only track down the purchasers of said items but the originating sellers as well despite claims that the items sold were simply automotive parts.

CBP Director of Field Operations Christopher Perry said “This is another prime example of our commitment to keeping our communities safe,” he continued underscoring the coordination of the operation, “these collaborative efforts with our HSI and ATF partners are key to shutting down international arms trafficking operations such as http://lafoauto.com/.”

Interestingly enough HSI is not out to simply catch people in the act of purchasing these items. By using a court order the HSI redirects the suspect website (in this case lafoauto) to one under the direct control of HSI. From there those who view the website will see a banner with a PSA warning potential customers against purchasing the illegal goods.

While this is not the HSI’s first seizure of a website selling illicit goods, it is the first instance in which they have seized a website whose sole purpose is dedicated to selling illegal arms and suppressor components.

This is part and parcel of some alleged scheme by China to arm Marxist BLM proponents that were (again) allegedly going to use them to overthrow the government and bring about a socialist utopia here in the USA. ICE/CBP supposedly also confiscated 10K full auto "triggers" for AR15s from China as well to help get this operation underway...though the pics I saw don't look like RDIASs...maybe full sears/triggers/hammers?

I dunno...the whole thing sounds pretty suspect in terms of it being some Chinese/BLM conspiracy.....since ATF is salivating at the thought of tracking down all these people who bought DIY can kits....and since ANYONE could order them, I highly doubt it was just BLM members doing so.

Besides, I'm a little unclear as to how it's legal for ATF to track down the owners anyway as there's no proof they actually made these parts into an actual suppressor...guess they're going to hinge their cases on that lofty judicial bar of "constructive possession". I guess since my wife possesses a vagina she's also guilty of constructive possession for the purpose of prostitution, or some such nonsense.

Keeping our communities safe? What a load of bullocks.

Suspect, yet plausible. Bottom line is that we've divided ourselves so much (both sides, all sides) that it's just this easy for foreign governments to pour fuel on the raging dumpster fire. Divide and conquer. The rhetoric and incompetence coming for our professional golfer-in-chief doesn't help.

This alone, should be warning enough for all sides to simmer down and find common ground... soon.

As for ATF and the silly laws... don't get me started.

And I didn't mean China wasn't involved in shipping this stuff in, I was more saying that it's not just BLM who was buying it. Now the sears are another story....but every article I've read online has been super vague and only yesterday did the first article I've seen mention "full auto trigger parts" for "Ar15s" specifically. When the story broke at least a week ago...there were zero details and the pictures were of baggies of allegedly "illegal" parts.

As for the rest, neither side wants a common ground b/c the visions are so fundamentally different in terms of who they want to use the power of government to control. In point of fact, both sides want more and larger government...they just want it to be their particular flavor of tyranny of their majority.

Sad but true. Achilles heel of majority rule, aka "democracy".
