    Want to add white T-marks

I'm looking for a company that can add the white t-marks to an upper I already have. I also want to add all the alpha-numeric marks to my black XCR too. I don't care if it's engraved or laser etched or whatever, as long as it's good to go. Anyone doing this? I tried Orion but their site is not working well. R2Z

Those are the white numeral markings you see on some rail systems. They help you locate the proper position for accessories that you add and remove often.

Yeah, they're properly called alpha-numeric marks. I guess they're just called t-marks because the first AR-15's model M-4 had them on the top of the upper receiver but had regular handguards. A little later the quad-rail forearm (handguards) appeared, and they continued the markings out into the rails. Now several uppers have continuous mono-rails, eg: XCR, and this Colt 6940.

I believe the top rifle may be a Colt 6920 with the detachable carry handle in place (this is the original AR-15, M-4A3). On the Colt 6940 (bottom), you can see that only the top rail is "t-marked", the sides and bottom are marked accordingly. BTW, these are not my AR's, I think they actually belong to someone on this forum.

Anyway, I want to add these to my black XCR. I think it will make it a little more GI. Still looking for a company tho.
